What areas do you cover?
We cover anywhere in Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Port Talbot, and parts of Pembrokeshire. Please check with us if you are unsure if we cover your area.

Are you DBS checked?
All entertainment staff that work for Magical Mascots are DBS checked. Our mascots will carry a copy of their DBS Certificate and will be happy to show you if asked.

What do the Mascots do at a party?
Our mascots will make a guest appearance for the time you have booked. The mascots will generally do a meet and greet for the children and other guests, pose for photo taking, join in with party games, help with bringing out the cake, give out the party bags. Please ask us if you have any specific requests.

Will the Mascots need a break?
For the shorter booking periods the mascots will works in one session, however for bookings that are longer than 30mins they may need a 5 minute break half way through for a drink as it can get hot inside the costumes. Our entertainers reserve the right to take a break if required at any time they feel they need on, especially on hot summer days or if the venue is hot as if can get quite warm inside the costumes.

I need a mascot not shown on your website?
If you want a mascot that we do not have on our website, then please get in touch with us. We are always looking to add further mascots to what we already have.

How do I book a mascot?
Booking our mascots can be done on our website. We will confirm with you within 24hrs if the mascot or mascots you have requested are available on the date that you want. We will also need some details regarding your party at this stage. We will take a small deposit when you book to secure the mascot on the date and time required. The outstanding amount is paid to your performer on the day in cash or through our website.

How do I pay?
When booking on our website you can either pay just the deposit or the full amount. We suggest paying the deposit first. We accept both PayPal and BACS payments.

Should I book ahead?
Some of our mascots are very popular so it’s best to book as soon as possible. We can only confirm a booking once deposit has been paid.

What happens once I’ve booked a mascot?
We will send you a confirmation of the mascot or mascots that you have booked and send you confirmation and receipt by email. We will then contact you a couple of days prior to the date you have booked to check that nothing has changed.

What time will my mascot arrive?
We will arrive approximately 15-30mins before your booking time, depending on what has been agreed when booking and the location. We will discuss this with you at the time of booking as every venue will differ. Depending on the venue, we may need a private area to change, or a private area to appear from.

How many people will turn up on the day?
Normally it is only the mascot or mascots you have booked. Depending on the location, venue and amount of mascots we may have support staff to accompany them.
